Lubrication

Caution: danger of injury !
Oil can induce skin rashes.
Avoid long-term skin contact.
Wash yourself thoroughly after contact.
ATTENTION!
The handling and disposal of mineral oils is subject to statutory
regulations.
Deliver used oil to an authorised acceptance office.
Protect the environment.
Take care not to spill any oil.
For the lubrication of the special sewing machine, use exclusively the
lubricant DA 10 or an equivalent oil with the following specification:

DA 10 can be obtained from the sales outlets of
DÜRKOPP ADLER AG with reference to
the following parts number:

Oiling of the machine head
–
Check reservoir 1 every week.
The oil level must not sink below the marking "MIN".
If required, refill oil up to the mark "MAX" through the boreholes in
the inspection window.
Oiling of the machine head

Reservoir 2 must be checked every week
(not in case of 271-140442, 271-140432, 273-140432).
The oil level must not sink below the marking "MIN".
If needed, refill oil up to the marking "MAX".
