Cleaning and Testing

Maintenance work
to carried out
Machine head
-Remove lint, thread waste
and cutting waste.
-Clean the oil collection tray
(under machine head).

Switch off the main switch!
The sewing machine may be serviced only when it is switched off.
The maintenance jobs must be performed latest after the
maintenance intervals specified in the tables (see column "Operating
Hours").
Shorter maintenance
intervals can ensue if lint collecting materials are processed.
A clean sewing machine protects against faults!
Explanation
Places to be cleaned in particular:
- Underside of the throat plate
- Feed dog bars
- Area around the hooks
- Bobbin case
- Thread cutter
- Area of the needles
- Remove lint and cutting
waste
