Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromag-
netische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Nie-
derspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-
nung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie-
mals selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch unsach-
gemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines
elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt beim
Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie für den Betrieb auch unbedingt die fol-
genden Punkte:
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung in Räumen
geeignet.
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40 °C).
Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen, und sofort den
Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlußleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in eine
Fachwerkstatt geben.
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur
durch den Hersteller oder eine autorisierte Fach-
werkstatt ersetzt werden.
Den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventu-
elle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.
Für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch
verwenden auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder
Wasser.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
The unit is designed for indoor use only.
Protect the unit against humidity and heat (permis-
sible ambient temperature range 0–40 °C).
Do not take the unit to operation and immediately
take the mains plug out of the mains socket if:
1. damage at the unit or mains cable can be seen,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by author-
ized skilled personnel.
A damaged mains cable must only be repaired by
the manufacturer or authorized skilled personnel.
Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket
by means of the mains cable.
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is operated in the wrong way or not
repaired by authorized, skilled personnel, there is
no liability for possible damage.
Only use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning, by no means
chemicals or water.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively,
bring it to a local recycling plant for disposal.
Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accord-
ance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured red.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Stereo-Disco-Mischpult MPX-200 mit zwei
Stereo-Eingangskanälen und einem DJ-Mikrofon-
kanal ist für beliebige DJ-Anwendungen im privaten
oder professionellen Bereich geeignet. Es kann
sowohl frei aufgestellt als auch in ein Bedienpult ein-
gebaut werden.

Mischpult anschließen
Für den Anschluß oder beim Ändern von Anschlüs-
sen zuerst das Mischpult und alle anderen Audio-
Geräte ausschalten.
1) Die Tonquellen an die entsprechenden Eingangs-
buchsen auf der Rückseite des Mischpultes an-
schließen:
LINE bzw. CD (28 + 30) für den Anschluß von bis
zu sechs Geräten mit Line-Pegel (z. B. CD-Spie-
ler, Tape-Deck, MiniDisk-Recorder)
PHONO (29 + 31) für den Anschluß von bis zu
zwei Plattenspielern mit Magnetsystem
DJ MIC (9) auf der Frontseite für den Anschluß
eines DJ-Mono-Mikrofons
2) Den
Verstärker
an
die
MASTER (34) anschließen.
3) Ist ein Monitoranlage vorhanden, deren Eingang
mit den Buchsen BOOTH (35) verbinden.
4) Für eventuelle Tonaufnahmen ein Aufnahmegerät
an die Ausgangsbuchsen REC (36) anschließen.
Der Aufnahmepegel ist unabhängig von den Reg-
lern MASTER (23) und BOOTH (22).
5) Soll ein Effektgerät (z. B. Equalizer, Hallgerät etc.)
in die Ausgänge MASTER (34), BOOTH (35) und
REC (36) eingeschleift werden, zuerst die beiden
Steckbrücken (38) herausziehen. Das Effektgerät
an die Buchsen LOOP (37) anschließen:
Den Eingang mit den Buchsen OUT und
den Ausgang mit den Buchsen IN verbinden.
6) Zuletzt den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.

Applications
The stereo disco mixer MPX-200 with two stereo
input channels and one DJ microphone is suitable for
any desired private or professional DJ applications. It
can be used as a table top unit or be installed into a
console.

Connecting the Mixer
For the connection or while changing connections at
first switch off the mixer and all other audio units.
1) Connect the audio sources to the corresponding
input jacks at the rear panel of the mixer:
LINE resp. CD (28 + 30) to connect up to six units
with line level (e. g. CD player, tape deck, minidisc
recorder)
PHONO (29 + 31) to connect up to two turntables
with magnetic system
DJ MIC (9) at the front panel to connect a DJ
mono microphone
2) Connect the amplifier to the output jacks MASTER
(34).
3) If a monitor system is available, connect its input
to the jacks BOOTH (35).
4) For possible audio recordings connect a recording
unit to the output jacks REC (36). The recording
level is independent of controls MASTER (23) and
BOOTH (22).
5) If an effect unit (e. g. equalizer, reverb unit etc.) is
to be inserted into the outputs MASTER (34),
BOOTH (35) and REC (36), at first remove both
jumpers (38). Connect the effect unit to the jacks
LOOP (37): Connect
the input to the jacks OUT and
the output to the jacks IN.
6) Finally plug the mains plug into a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).

Bedienung
Vor dem Einschalten des Mischpultes sollten die
Regler MASTER (23) und BOOTH (22) auf Minimum
gestellt werden, um starke Einschaltgeräusche zu
vermeiden. Dann das Mischpult mit dem Ein-/Aus-
schalter POWER (20) einschalten. Zur Betriebskon-
trolle leuchtet die LED über dem Schalter POWER.
Anschließend die angeschlossenen Geräte einschal-
ten.
5.1 Grundeinstellung der Eingangskanäle
1) Wird das Mischpult zum ersten Mal in Betrieb ge-
nommen, zuerst alle GAIN-Regler (2, 7, 10), alle
Balanceregler (1+ 8) und alle Klangregler (11+15)
in die Mittelposition drehen sowie alle KILL-Schal-
ter (16) in die obere Position stellen (LEDs aus).
2) Mit den beiden Eingangsumschaltern (3 + 6) die
angeschlossenen Signalquellen anwählen.
3) Zur Pegeleinstellung der Eingangskanäle den
Regler MASTER (23) auf ca.
stellen.
4) Den Umschalter BEAT (5) in die Position
MASTER stellen. Die LED-Pegelanzeige (4) gibt
jetzt den Ausgangspegel an.
Ausgangsbuchsen
5) Den Überblendregler (19) ganz nach links in die
Position CH 1 schieben.
6) Mit dem Fader (12) des Kanals 1 den Kanal aus-
steuern. Optimale Aussteuerung liegt vor, wenn
bei den lautesten Passagen die grüne 0-dB-LED
der Pegelanzeige (4) kurz aufleuchtet.
Der Fader sollte nach der Pegeleinstellung auf

des Maximums stehen, damit zum Ein- und

Ausblenden genügend Reglerweg vorhanden ist.
Wenn nicht, den Eingangspegel mit dem Regler
GAIN (2) anpassen.
7) Für Kanal 1 die Balance mit dem Regler
BALANCE (1) und das Klangbild mit den Klang-
reglern (15) einstellen. Durch Verstellen der drei
Klangregler lassen sich die Bässe, Mitten und
Höhen bis zu 12 dB anheben bzw. bis zu 24 dB (!)
absenken. Stehen die Regler in der Mittelstellung,
findet keine Frequenzgangbeeinflussung statt.

Operation
Prior to switching on the mixer, the controls MASTER
(23) and BOOTH (22) should be set to minimum to
avoid a strong switching noise. Then switch on the
mixer with On/Off switch POWER (20). As an operat-
ing control the LED above switch POWER is lighting.
Then switch on the connected units.
5.1 Basic setting of the input channels
1) If the mixer is set into operation for the first time,
at first turn all GAIN controls (2, 7, 10), all balance
controls (1+ 8) and all equalizer controls (11+15)
to mid-position and set all KILL switches (16) to
the upper position (LEDs off).
2) With both input selector switches (3 + 6) select the
connected signal sources.
3) For the level adjustment of the input channels set
the MASTER control (23) to approx.
max. position.
4) Set selector switch BEAT (5) to position MASTER.
The LED level display (4) now shows the output
level.
5) Slide the crossfader (19) fully to the left to position
CH 1.
6) Control channel 1 with the channel 1 fader (12).
The optimum output is obtained if with the highest
peaks the green 0 dB LED of the level display (4)
shortly lights up.
After the level adjustment the fader should be
in approx.
sufficient range for fading in and out. If not, match
the input level with control GAIN (2).
7) For channel 1 adjust the balance with control
BALANCE (1) and the sound with the equalizer
controls (15). By adjusting the three equalizer
controls the low, high and mid-frequencies can be
boosted up to 12 dB resp. attenuated down to
24 dB (!). If the controls are in mid-position, there
is no influence on the frequency response.
