¾ Removal of the protective equipment must
only be performed with the motor stationary
and the power pack removed.
¾ Ensure that ventilation slots are free from dirt.
¾ Do not clean the device with water.
¾ Activate the chain brake.
General safety information
¾ Spare parts must meet the requirements of
the manufacturer. Therefore, use only original
spare parts or those spare parts authorised by
the manufacturer. During replacement, always
observe the supplied fitting instructions, remove
the power pack in advance.
¾ Repairs must only be performed by a qualified
technician or service centre. Specialist work-
shop addresses can be found on our website.

Intended use

This tool is intended solely
- for use as a chainsaw with the authorised original
cutting chains and guide bars for sawing branches
and for sawing tree trunks up to 35 cm in diame-
ter.
- for use in accordance with the descriptions and
safety instructions given in this operating manual.
The chainsaw is not designed for commercial use
and may only be used at home and in the garden.
Any other use is classed as an unintended use.
The user is liable for any damages arising from
unintended use.

the tool.
Note
The label has the status of a certificate. It
must never be altered or obliterated.
