2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

BUILT-IN INSTALLATION

This appliance is designed for free-standing or built-in installation. For a built-in installation, please refer to the
sketch below.
 The depth of the opening must be at least 15 inches (in width).We recommend 15.5".
 The cut-out dimension illustrated in the figure below allows for door swing and access to the pull-out shelves
when installed as a built-in appliance.
 If the installation is between frameless cabinets, a 1/2" wide side panel or a filler strip may be required on the
side of the hinge.
 The filler strip will act as a spacer between the unit and the adjacent cabinet door.
 The width of the opening should include the filler panels or molding.
NOTE: The door should protrude at least 1" beyond the surrounding cabinets and must have a
clearance of at least 2" of air space between the rear of the unit and the wall. Therefore,
it is recommended that the surrounding cabinets be a minimum of 24'' in depth
