Periodic maintenance by the user

WARNING
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for
any damages to persons, animals or things caused
by an incorrect maintenance of the machine.
Machine efficiency is ensured by its correct main-
tenance; it is therefore important to follow the in-
structions below.
Wear protective, heat-proof gloves before carrying
out any kind of maintenance.
Body parts cleaning
Clean all body parts with a non-dripping, damp
cloth. Avoid using abrasive detergents or sponges.
Daily cleaning of parts in contact
with coffee
Every evening or before turning off the machine,

remove portafilters ( Pic. 2) from group heads (
Pic. 2) and filters from portafilters.
Clean all these parts with the brush (current ma-
chine accessory) in order to avoid encrusting on
external and internal surfaces.
Remove and properly clean the drip tray (
and the cup grill.
Group heads cleaning (Daily)
This machine is equipped with an automatic group-
cleaning cycle system.
To start the cleaning cycle of each group, follow
these instructions:
• Remove the portafilter from the group to be clea-
ned, then remove its filter and replace it with the
blind filter (current machine accessory).
• Put one cleaning tablet (current machine acces-
sory) in the blind filter and put the portafilter back
in place.
• Push at the same time the
ON/OFF of the matching group for a few seconds.

By enabling the cleaning cycle, the main screen
will be displayed, showing the cleaning cycle icon.
• Repeat the above-mentioned operations to clean
the other groups.
• When all group cleaning has been completed and
before using the machine again, take at least 200
cc of water from each group by pushing the (PD3)
(continuous pouring) with no portafilter.
Daily cleaning: boiler cleaning
The boiler shall be cleaned daily to guarantee a
constantly clean, drinkable water supply for teas.
To start the boiler cleaning cycle, follow the inst-
ructions below:
• Place one end of a flexible hose into machine hot
water outlet and the other end into sink.
• Push at the same time the button corresponding
to the icon FUNC and buttons (P8) and (P10) for a
few seconds.
• By enabling the cleaning cycle, the main screen
will be displayed, showing the cleaning cycle icon.
