Important general settings

• A keypad can be programmed for both the HomeTec Pro CFA3000 door lock actuator and the
HomeTec Pro FCA3000 / FSA3550 window actuator. The type of drive is detected automatically
by the keypad. Up to three CFA, FCA / FSA drives can be programmed within the wireless
range
• Some of the functions on Menu 5.1f can only be selected either on the door lock actuator or
the window actuator.
• When inserting the batteries, the ABUS logo appears for approx. 5 seconds; thereafter the
code field
• When waking the keypad by knocking, the code field opens
• An acoustic feedback is given with each keypad entry. Note: The signal can be set to be
quieter or can be switched off completely (menu 5.1j).
• The first time the machine is used the admin code needs to be changed (factory setting
12345, menu 5.1c). Memorise the new code or make a note of it somewhere that cannot be
accessed by unauthorised persons! ABUS cannot reset codes!
• For the entry of a code number an is created on the display, i.e. 5 (-10) digits
• Multiple incorrect code entries result in a temporary blocked entry status
• After approx. 120 seconds without entry, the system changes back to the code entry status
• If the battery power of the keypad and the programmed drives is low, this is indicated by a
symbol on the display. Change the batteries immediately (menu 6).
• As soon as "Automatic Locking" is enabled (menu 5.1f, only when using the HomeTec Pro
door lock actuator CFA3000), the keypad queries the status of the drive in a pre-determined
period (approx. every 15 minutes). If the door is reported as unlocked in this time, it is auto-
matically locked again.
To teach the keypad correctly menu a-e is required.
Optional configuration options offer the menu f-j.
All of the functions described in this manual are included in software version 3.0 and
above (The installed version can be seen in the top right of the administrator menu, V x.x).
