Assembly

Warning
Incorrectly mounted components pose a significant risk.
• You must read and understand the instructions and notes in the manual before you begin assembly.
• If you have questions about mounting these components, contact your SQlab dealer or have your saddle fitted by an experien-
ced bicycle mechanic.
Caution
To fit an eMTB, eBike and pedelec, certain country-specific standards, rules and regulations must be followed.
• In Germany, observe the "Guide to Conversion to Pedelecs" of the Zweirad-Industrie-Verband e.V.
(http://www.ziv-zweirad.de) in cooperation with the association service and bicycle geV (www.vsf.de) and Zedler -
Institute for Bicycle Technology and Safety GmbH (www.zedler.de).
• The ERGOLUX
saddles have not received blanket approval for fast pedelecs (S-pedelecs, up to 45 km/h). Observe
®
the country-specific specifications for these. In Germany, particularly the "Guidelines for component replacement on
fast e-bikes/pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 45 km/h" must be observed.

Saddle height

Information on the correct saddle height adjustment can be found in the manual for your bike and in a number of books and guides on
bicycle ergonomics. Your SQlab dealer will certainly be happy to help you.
Due to the SQlab step saddle concept, SQlab saddles usually build a little higher than other saddles. Therefore, after replacing the sadd-
le, it is necessary to check and possibly correct the saddle height adjustment.
