Intended use

The different models of the SQlab ERGOLUX® series are designed for the different areas of application of travel, everyday, city and trek-
king cycling and have undergone numerous testing procedures. An overload and damage to the saddle is determined by the nature of
the surface being ridden on, riding ability, riding style, weight or the total system weight and other special events, such as riding errors,
falls and accidents. In the description the intended use, we follow the international categorization ASTM F2043-13, which defines the
different fields of application as precisely as possible.

use according to ASTM F2043.
Warning
Each component has its load limit, which can be exceeded in case of overload or
during special driving manoeuvres. Please note the following:
• Never exceed the permitted system and rider weight.
• Use your saddle only in the intended use category, or a lower one (according to
ASTM F 2043-13).
• After situations in which especial or unexpected force has been exerted, such as
after a crash, a cycling mistake or an accident, carry out an extraordinary inspecti-
on.
• If in doubt, the potentially damaged component should be replaced prophylacti-
cally. In such case, play it safe and ask your SQlab dealer for advice.
• For the protection of third parties, a component which is not immediately and
obviously recognisable as being defective should be clearly marked as unusable.
