CAPPUCCINO
MAsTER HOW TO MAkE A CAPPUCCINO UsINg gROUND COFFEE (1 sERvINg)
1.
Place the 1 cup filter basket in the filter holder. Prime the coffee machine to pre-heat
the brewhead, filter holder and a cappuccino cup.

Prepare the Filter Holder
a.
Using the scoop provided, fill the filter with a 0.24oz correct measure of ground
coffee. Tamp the surface lightly to level, then wipe clean the edge of the filter cup
to ensure a good seal. Insert into the machine.
3.
Froth the Milk
a.
Ensure the froth nozzle is on the end of the steam wand. select the steam option
on the machine. The indicator light will go out when it's at the correct
temperature. Burst steam through the wand to prime it.
b.
Pour 2.5-6.5fl oz of cold milk into a metal frothing jug. Position the jug under the
steam wand, with the nozzle just below the surface of the milk. Turn the control
knob to the steam position. keep the jug tilted to create a vortex and allow the
steam to move the milk around. Move the jug up and down slowly so that the
steam is heating the milk at the bottom of the jug, and creating foam at the top.
This should take about 1 minute. Don't overheat the milk. The ideal temperature
is 158-167°F. When the foam has almost reached the top of the jug and the
correct temperature, turn the control knob to the 'off' position. Tap the jug a few
times on the table and gently swirl to texturise. Always clean the nozzle and steam
wand after use. Flush through with steam for 15-30 seconds.

Make the Espresso
a.
Place the pre-warmed cup under the nozzles of the filter holder. select the
coffee option on the machine. The indicator light will go out when it's at the
correct temperature. Turn the control knob to the coffee position to start the
coffee extraction. When the cup contains 1-1.18fl oz espresso (after 15-20
seconds), turn the knob to the 'off' position.
5.
Make the Cappuccino
a.
Pour the steamed milk onto the espresso, then add a layer of foam. A cappuccino
should have equal parts of espresso, steamed milk and foam.

labour. Carriage is not included.

This guarantee provides benefits which are
additional to, and do not affect, your
statutory rights. This guarantee does not
cover the cost of returning the product to
the dealer from whom it was purchased or
to ourselves. This guarantee applies only to
products sold and located in mainland
North America. It does not cover liability in
respect of or replacement of plugs, cables
or fuses and also does not cover defects
due to:
• Failure to use or maintain product in
accordance with Dualit's instructions.
• The product being connected to an
unsuitable electricity supply.
• Accidental damage to or abuse or misuse
of the product.
• Product modification except by Dualit or
approved agent.
• Dismantling of or interference with the
product.
• Theft or attempted theft of the product.
Before returning any product under this
guarantee, please check that:
• You have followed the product
instructions correctly.
• Your mains electricity supply is functional.
• The defect is not due to a blown fuse.
If you wish to claim under this guarantee
you should:
• send the product, postage or carriage
paid, to the dealer from whom it was
purchased or to Dualit direct.
• Ensure that the product is clean and
packed carefully (preferably in its original
carton).
• Enclose details of your name, address and
telephone number and when and where
the product was purchased, together with
proof of purchase (e.g. a till receipt).
• give exact details of the nature of the
defect.
This guarantee does not cover any other
claims whatsoever, including, without
limitation, any liability for incidental, indirect
or consequential damage, nor does it cover
any claims for conversion or modification or
for the costs of repair carried out by any
third party without the prior consent of
Dualit. If replacement parts are fitted to the
product this will not extend the period of
the guarantee.
