Sewing in tape
The standard presser foot is equipped with a tape guide. When sewing shoulders
or side seams of stretchy fabrics as a knitted fabric, a tape works effectively to
prevent undesirable stretch of the fabric.
1. Turn the handwheel toward you until the needles are fully raised.
2. Raise the presser foot, place the tape in the groove on the presser foot, and
lower the presser foot.
3. Loosen the guide adjusting screw (A) to fit the tape guide (B) to the tape width,
then tighten the screw.
4. Turn the handwheel manually to make two or three stitches in the tape.
5. Place the fabric to be sewn under the presser foot.
6. Sew, guiding the tape lightly.
Szycie taśm
Standardowa stopka jest wyposażona w prowadnik taśm. Gdy szyjesz rękawy lub
boczne ściegi na rozciągliwych materiałach takich jak dzianiny, taśma jest
efektywnym sposobem na zapobieżenie niepożądanej rozciągliwości.
1. Obracaj koło do siebie aż igły będą w pełni uniesione.
2. Unieś stopkę, umieść taśmę w rowku na stopce i opuść stopkę.
3. Poluzuj śrubę regulującą prowadnik (A) by dopasować prowadnik (B) do
szerokości taśmy i dokręć śrubę.
4. Obracaj kołem ręcznym aż zrobić dwa lub trzy szwy na taśmie.
5. Umieść tkaninę pod stopką.
6. Rozpocznij szycie prowadząc taśmę.
Pose de bande de renfort
Le pied presseur standard est équipé d'un guide pour bande de renfort.
La bande de renfort permet de soutenir la couture des épaules ou des bordures
sur des tissus à maille et d'éviter ainsi les fronces indésirables.
1. Tourner le volant vers l'avant et amener les aiguilles dans leur position la plus
haute.
2. Relever le pied presseur, mettre la bande de renfort dans la fente du pied
presseur. Abaisser le pied presseur.
3. Desserrer la vis de réglage du guide (A) pour l'adapter le guide (B) à la largeur
de la bande. Resserrer la vis.
4. Faire 2 ou 3 points d'essai en tournant le volant à la main.
5. Mettre l'étoffe sous le pied presseur.
6. Piquer en guidant légèrement la bande.
Applicazione di un un nastro
Il piedino standard è dotato di una guida passanastro. Durante la cucitura si può
attaccare contemporaneamente un nastro o un elastico di una larghezza fino a 9
mm.
Il nastro è ideale per rinforzare le cuciture orizzontali in materiale di maglia (spalle)
o per attaccare un elastico lungo il bordo di taglio.
1. Portare gli aghi tutti in alto.
2. Alzare il piedino e girarlo.Passare il nastro sotto il piedino ed inserirlo da
nella guida nel piedino. Riportare il piedino diritto e abbassarlo.
3. Allentare la vite (A) di regolazione ed adattare la guida alla larghezza del nastro (B),
quindi stringere la vite.
4. Ruotare il volantino manualmente sino a formare due o tre punti sul nastro.
5. Posizionare il tessuto da cucire sotto il piedino
6. Cucire aiutando l'inserimento del nastro con delicatezza.
