Before calling service personnel, to avoid unnecessary expense, check whether the machine problem corresponds to
one of the cases listed below.

PROBLEM
The appliance does not function and
the indicator light ON (4) is off.
The appliance does not work and
the indicator light ON (4) is on.
The appliance works correctly but
the ground coffee does not come
out.
The ground coffee doesn't fall in the
centre of the filter-holder
The filter-holder falls from the fork

The appliance makes an unex-

CAUSE
No electricity.
Fixing ring nut (A) not screwed on correctly
(safety microswitch open)

Hopper shutter (15) closed.
(2)
Coffee in hopper finished
(3)
Accidental formation of a blockage
inside the hopper.
(4)
Grinders in contact or excessive
amounts of ground coffee between the
grinders.
The cap (14) is not inserted correctly.
The metal distributor is deformed.
The fork is not properly adjusted.
Potential presence of foreign bodies in the
grinding chamber.

SOLUTION
Check that the electricity is on.
Check the position of the mains switch
(4).
Check the fi ing ring nut A) is screwed
on tightly.

Push the shutter (15) inwards to
free the passage of coffee to the
grinders.
(2)
Fill the hopper with coffee.
(3)
Manually move the coffee beans
inside the hopper.
(4)
Loosen the grinders in use and
clean them.
Check the position of the cap (14)
and that the distributor is intact.
Adjust the height of the fork (7) using
the special tool.
Close the shutter (15) and grind the
remaining coffee until the chamber is
empty. If the problem persists, con-
tact the technical service centre.
