1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT:

Before using the appliance, read carefully these instructions. Keep these instructions for future
reference.
· Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage before
connecting the appliance.
· Use only original parts from the manufacturer. Your warranty will become invalid if such
accessories or parts have been used.
· Do not use the appliance if the power cord, plug, or any other part is damaged.
· Clean the parts that come into contact with food thoroughly before using the appliance for
the first time.
· Place the appliance on a flat, dry, and clean surface.
· Do not touch the blades, especially if they are running. They are very sharp. Hold the upper
part of the blade while removing or re-installing it.
· Do not use the accessories and/or the appliance if they have been damaged. Contact an
authorized service centre in such case.
· This appliance must not be used by children under the age of 8. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children.
· This appliance can be used by children aged 8 or above, as long as they are given supervision.
· Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
· Switch the appliance off before detaching or installing any accessory.
· Before you remove any part off the appliance, wait until its moving parts have
stopped running.
· Never immerse the main body in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap.
Use only a moist cloth to clean the appliance. Unplug the appliance immediately after use.
· Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the socket before changing accessories or
approaching parts which move during its use.
· This can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and they understand the hazards involved.
· This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar environments such as:
· Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
· Hotels and other residential environments.
· Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children.
· This appliance is not intended to be used by means of an external timer or remote control system.
· Never increase the speed abruptly when the temperature or heating temperature is more than 60 ºC.
· When processing hot food (for temperatures above 60 ºC) do not touch the measuring cup or
press the pulse button.
· Be sure to place the appliance on a clean, solid, and even surface which cannot be heated up,
particularly when using the steamer.
