The patient programmer communicates with
your neurostimulator by sending signals to
and receiving signals from your implanted
neurostimulator.
When you use the patient programmer, hold
it directly over your implanted neurostimulator
so that the programmer screen is facing out.
The back of the patient programmer should
be as close to the neurostimulator as
possible, as shown in Figure 2.1.
