The following chapter explains the
importance of maintaining the battery charge
level of your rechargeable neurostimulator.
Warning: It is very important to check
your neurostimulator battery every day. If
the therapy provided by your
neurostimulator should stop abruptly this
could cause your symptoms to return. In
some cases, your symptoms may return
at a greater intensity than before your
implant. In rare situations, this could result
in a medical emergency.
It is important for you to recharge your
battery on a regular, frequent basis as
recommended by your doctor to make
sure that the neurostimulator battery
remains charged. Depending on your
therapy settings this may mean charging
your battery once a day or once a week,
