You should charge the battery as soon as
possible. If the battery remains in a
discharged state, it continues to lose
charge and it will become overdischarged.
If the neurostimulator battery is allowed to
overdischarge, you may not be able to
recharge or communicate with the
neurostimulator; however, your doctor
may be able to restore the battery
function.
Allowing the neurostimulator battery to
overdischarge will permanently affect the
neurostimulator in one of the following
ways:
