6. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/guarantee will expire. We do not assume
any liability for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety
instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee will expire.
Normal wear and tear and accident and crash damage (e.g. broken rotor or other broken parts) are also excluded from the guarantee and warranty.
Dear Customer,
this safety information serves not only to protect the product, but also your own safety and the safety of other persons. Therefore, read this chapter
very carefully before taking the product into operation!
a) General Information
Caution, important note!
Operating the model may cause damage to property and/or individuals. Therefore, make sure that you are sufficiently insured when using the
model, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you already have private liability insurance, verify whether or not operation of the model is
covered by your insurance before commissioning your model.
Note: In some EU countries, you are required to have insurance for any flying models!
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not become damp or wet.
• If you do not have sufficient knowledge as to how to deal with remote-controlled models, please seek the advice of an experienced model maker or a model
making club.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children.
• Should any questions arise that are not answered with the help of these operating instructions, contact our Technical Advisory Service (for contact information
see chapter 1) or another expert.
b) Before Commissioning
• Always switch on the transmitter first and then connect the flight model's flight battery speed controller at once. Since a frequency check (binding) between
transmitter and receiver was already performed in the factory, your model will react at once to your transmitter's control signals.
• Check the functional reliability of your model and of the remote control system. Watch out for any visible damage such as defective plug connections or
damaged cables. All moving parts of the model must run smoothly but should not have any play in their bearings.
• The flight battery required for operation must be charged according to the operating instructions.
• Always observe sufficient residual capacity for the transmitter batteries (battery tester). If the batteries are empty, always replace the complete set, never
individual cells only.
• Before commissioning, check the trim button settings for direction control and adjust them if required.
• Always angle the transmitter aerial towards the side of the model. This is how you will achieve best signal transmission to the model. Transmission to the
model is lowest when you point the transmitter aerial tip directly at the model.
• Always switch on the transmitter first. Only then must be model be switched on. Otherwise, the electric model plane may show unpredictable responses and
the rotor may start unintentionally!
• Always check if the rotor is correctly and securely installed before operating the product.
• Make sure that no objects or body parts are in the range or the suction area of the rotor while it is rotating.
