Introduction
®
The PHM220 Lab pH Meter is a key instrument in MeterLab
,
Radiometer Analytical's complete range of measuring equipment for
accurate and reliable pH, ion and conductivity measurements. In
addition to reliable pH/mV measurements, convenient features such
as result storage according to GLP and an Edit mode for user-defined
measuring procedures make the PHM220 the ideal choice for any
type of quality control laboratory.
pH and mV measurements can be individually edited to fit your
specific tasks. pH can be displayed to either 1 or 2 decimal places
and, if set, an alarm beep will sound when the pH or temperature is
outside user-defined limits.
Using AUTOREAD, the pH or mV result is locked on the display as
soon as the stability criterion and/or the accept time are reached
ensuring excellent reproducibility. Sample pH or mV can also be
measured continuously and printed out at specific time intervals.
One, two or three-point calibrations are made simple and reliable with
AUTO recognition of three types of buffers: IUPAC pH standards,
Technical buffers or 4-7-10 Series. Alternatively, one, two or three
buffers can be FIXED from a list of common values. In both cases,
the PHM220 will guide the user through the calibration procedure and
automatically find and use the buffer's pH value at the current tem-
perature.
Up to 25 pH and mV sample measurements as well as 9 calibration
results are stored in the PHM220's GLP table. Each result is fully
documented with date and time.
In addition to the connection facility for a temperature sensor, the
PHM220 also has built-in interfaces for connection of a printer/PC
and a recorder.
