Overview
Warranty
The warranty is valid only if the installa-
tion of the appliance is carried out by an
authorized technician.
Damage due to the following causes
will void the warranty:
Abnormal conditions of the installa-
tion:
• Internal unit positioned outside the
house
• Internal unit positioned in a place
subjected to bad weather or in the
presence of frost
• Appliance supplied with rainwater,
water from wells or water whose
hardness is abnormal or not com-
plying with current regulations
• Installation in replacement of ap-
pliances that were defective from the
origin
In case of damages found on the ap-
pliance, the same shall be sent to one
of our Service Centers, following the
contact with our technical services.
Damages caused by improper instal-
lation, transport, packaging and po-
sitioning after the collection of the
appliance from the distributor will be
borne by the installer.
The replacement of the components
of the appliance shall not be re-
funded, if it occurred in one of the
following cases:
• Various damages caused by shock or
electrical failures during handling of
the product, after it leaves the esta-
blishment of production
• Damages caused by a leakage of wa-
ter from the internal unit that can be
avoided by an immediate repair of
the product by the user
• Damages caused by the applica-
tion of overvoltage to the system:
the warranty applies to the internal
unit and external unit only if both
their hydraulic and electronic com-
ponents are intact.
The warranty does not apply in
cases where the installation is not
compliant to the regulations and
standards in force as well as state of
the art and, more particularly, in case
of:
• Not correct installation of the safety
group
• Installation of the security group not
compliant to the rules in force or
usage of a damaged security group
• Changes made to the safety group
during maintenance activities
• Abnormal corrosion of the hy-
draulic components due to incor-
rect connections (direct contact
iron-copper)
• Defective electrical connections or
connections not compliant to the
installation manual, improper groun-
ding, cable cross section too low,
non-compliance with the indicated
electrical connections scheme
• Damages due to the powering up of
the system before the hydraulic fi ll
The warranty does not apply in cases
of damages due to an insuffi cient
maintenance, as:
• Abnormal corrosion of the heating
bodies and safety groups
• Absence of maintenance of the
safety group
• Metal frame subjected to the aggres-
sion of external agents
• Changes made to the original ap-
pliance without communications
to the manufacturer or the use of
non-original spare parts
• Total absence of maintenance of the
appliance
CE Labelling
appliance complies with norms:
- 2004/108/EC - relating to Electro-
magnetic Compatibility
- 2006/95/EC - related to electrical
safety (LVD)
- RoHS2 2011/65/EU related to the
restriction of the use of certain dan-
gerous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment (EN 50581)
- Regulation (EU) No. 813/2013 on eco-
design (no. 2014 / C 207/02 - transi-
tional methods of measurement and
calculation)
Cleaning the heating system
At the fi rst installation, it is necessary to
pre-clean the installation.
In order to ensure the proper functio-
ning of the appliance, after each clea-
ning operation or water substitution,
verify that the appearance of the liquid
system is clear, without visible impu-
rities and that water hardness is under
20°F / 11°dH.
Characteristics of the water supplied
to the appliance
Ensure that the system is supplied with
water having a maximum hardness of
20°F / 11°dH.
For areas where the water is particularly
hard, providing a water softener does
not change in any way the warranty, if
the component is installed in a proper
manner and is subject to regular checks
and maintenance.
In particular, the hardness of the water
supplied to the appliance must never
be less than 12°F / 6,5°dH.
In case of aggressive - ferruginous or
hard - water fi lling (the pH should be
kept between 6.6 and 8.5), ferruginous
or hard, use treated water in order to
prevent scaling, corrosion and damages
to the appliance. Please note that even
a small amount of impurities in the wa-
ter may decrease the performance of
the installation.
The used fi lling water must absolutely
be treated in case of installation or in
case of frequent replenishments of wa-
ter in order to maintain a constant level
of liquid in the installation. When it is
necessary to proceed with the cleaning
of the installation, fi ll the entire system
with treated water.
In any case Local requirements /
standards must be respected.
Verify that the maximum pressure, at
the level of the water supply, does not
exceed 5 bar. Otherwise, provide the
installation with a pressure reducer
valve.
