ALARM DOOR OPEN FURNACE
(If electric element option: according to temperature demand will automatically switch to electric heating mode)
The door is open or not properly closed.
1- Check that nothing blocks the door and reclose it properly.
For each opening of the door, the furnace switches to "WOOD" mode for the next FIVE (5) hours of heating demand.
If you wish to start without delay to pellet mode:
2- KEEP upwards the button "RESET DOOR" for TEN (10) SECONDS. The pellet ignition cycle will begin only according to
the temperature demand.
If the "RESET DOOR" is not done, the ignition cycle will start only after FIVE (5) HOURS.
ALARM DUCT HI TEMPERATURE (+180°F)
The temperature in the warm-air duct is high, but the furnace will continue to operate. Automatically the G10 fan will
switch to "HI" mode to cool the system.
1- Make sure that there is nothing that blocks air outputs and check the filter of the vent box.
ALARM DUCT HI TEMPERATURE (+ 200°F)
The temperature in the warm-air duct is too high.
(NO type of heating works, neither wood, nor wood-pellets, nor wood-pellets-electric)
Possible cause: lack of air circulation.
1- Check filter.
2- Make sure the G10 fan is functional.
3- Make sure there are no obstructions in the fresh air intake.
4- Make sure there are no obstructions in the ducts.
ALARM DUCT T° PROBE DISCONNECTED
The system no longer receives the information from the temperature probe located in the center of the duct.
(NO type of heating works, neither wood, nor wood-pellets, nor wood-pellets-electric)
1- Check that the temperature probe is well plugged inside the vent box.
2- Make sure the "SUMMER SPEED"* button is in the "OFF" position. (some models only)
3- Make sure the duct is not too cold, the temperature should not
fall under 5 ° C. If this occurs, the probe will not read
temperature and the heating system will not operate.
*Normally the tab of the mechanic fan limit
should be on the "AUTO" position.
If the tab is on "MAN" position, the "G10 fan"
will operate constantly.
ALARM ELECTRIC BACKUP-OPEN DOOR TO RESTART
The furnace went in electric mode due to malfunction of the pellet system.
1- View to reset other alarms.
2- Check that the pellet tray in the combustion chamber is not cluttered, if so; remove it with a suitable tool,
leaving the pellets in the combustion chamber.
