ALARM CHIMNEY LOW T° (-100°F)
The furnace is in pellet mode and in a normal operating cycle, but the stack temperature is below 100°F, this indicates a
dysfunction of the combustion and / or smoke evacuation.
(If electric element option: according to temperature demand will automatically switch to electric heating mode)
Possible causes:
-The pellet stopped burning in the combustion chamber.
-A problem at the pellet feeding.
-The pellet bin and / or the combustion chamber are cluttered, which can stop the ignition cycle of the pellet.
-A dysfunction of the chimney.
Recommended solutions:
1- Verify that there are no other alarms to solve.
2- Check that the chimney has sufficient draft and there is no smoke backflow.
3- Open the door of the furnace and make sure there are no excess pellets in the pellet bin.
4- Remove all pellets from combustion tray. LEAVE pellets in the combustion chamber.
5- Close the furnace door.
6- Keep upwards for ten (10) SECONDES the «RESET DOOR» switch. The pellet ignition cycle will start as per temperature
demand.
ALARM CHIMNEY HI T° (+250°F)
The temperature in the stack is too high for the automatic ignition functioning properly.
The ignition cycle will automatically resume when the temperature drops below 250 ° F and according to heating
demand.
ALARM CHIMNEY PROBE UNPLUGGED
The system no longer receives information from the temperature sensor located in the chimney outlet of the furnace.
(If electric element option: according to temperature demand will automatically switch to electric heating mode)
1. Check that the temperature sensor is connected and that the wire is not damaged.
2. Make sure the chimney is not too cold; the temperature should not drop under 5 ° C. If this occurs, the probe will not read
temperature and the pellet heating system will not operate.
