INSTALLING THE MECHANICAL FAN LIMITER
Step 68:
Select the side on which the fan
limiter will be installed (2 pre-
drilled holes).
The plenum must be in place.
Drill a hole with a 1" drill bit into
the plenum at the appropriate
place to receive the element tube
from the limiter. SEE
GRAPHIC PREVIOUS PAGE.
Step 70:
Fix towards TOP, the fan limit electrical
wire using wire clips provided. Unscrew
screws from top and side caping of the
device to bring the electrical wire above
the ventilation box. Insert excess wire in
wire hiding-cover. Proceed as in step 62
with the excess wire.
INSTALLING THE ELECTRONIC FAN LIMITER
Step 72:
In the plenum in place, have a
pre-drilled hole with a 1/2" drill
bit in the appropriate place to
receive the element of
electronic limiter tube. See chart
previous page for positioning of
the hole.
Step 74 :
Attach towards the TOP of the furnace, the electric wire of the fan
limit using the supplied wire ties. Unscrew screws from the front
cover of the appliance and the side of the appliance to bring the cord
to the top of the ventilation box. Proceed as in step 62 for the excess
wire.

Step 69:
DRILL the 2nd hole as shown in
the previous graph before
installing the mechanical limiter.
Insert the element tube into the
opening and secure the
mechanical limiter to the plenum
and furnace using the four (4)
screws provided.
Position the tab on AUTO to be in
heating mode.
Step 71:
Connect the mechanical limiter to
the ventilation box at the indicated
location «Fan limit».
Step 73:
The mechanical fan limit must
be installed on the plenum
before the electronic fan
limit. Insert the element tube
into the opening and secure
the electronic limiter to the
plenum and furnace using the
four (4) screws provided.
Step 75 :
Connect the electronic fan limit to the ventilation
box at the indicated location «Sonde T° / Probe
T°».
