ALARM CHUTE PELLET FALL BLOCKED
The light of the proximity sensor located on top of the pellet chute section is lit; the chute fall is congested or blocked.
Note that you must occasionally clean the proximity sensor.
(If electric element option: according to temperature demand will automatically switch to electric heating mode)
1. Open the door, and check the pellet input into the furnace, the opening in the rear face of the combustion chamber. The
pellets must fall freely, otherwise unblock the opening.
2. Create a slight vibration on the tube of chute and bring down the accumulation of pellets.
The sensor light should go off for the system to reboot.
3. If the problem persists, remove the ferrules on the tube of the chute to release each pipe ends of the chute. Replace the
tubes and the ferrules.
Remove ferrules and
unblock the inside
tube of each section.
4. Make sure that the pellet feeding works well. Open the door and keep upwards the "RESET DOOR" switch to activate a
moment the auger.
5. Close the door. The ignition cycle will begin according to temperature demand; after FIVE (5) HOURS.
If you want to restart the pellet heating immediately:
6. HOLD upwards for about TEN (10) SECONDS the "RESET DOOR" switch.
The ignition cycle will begin according to temperature demand.
ALARM CHUTE PELLET FALL HIGH TEMPERATURE
Security alarm. The system automatically closes the air inlet damper and will stop the pellet feed.
(If electric element option: according to temperature demand will automatically switch to electric heating mode)
Possible causes:
1- CHIMNEY: WAIT FOR THE CHIMNEY TO COOL DOWN. Check that it is in good condition. (SEE complete text on the
section Furnace, Flue Pipe & Chimney on the REGISTRATION PLATE:
DURING THE HEATING SEASON, THE HEAT EXCHANGER, FLUE PIPE AND CHIMNEY MUST ALL BE CLEANED
REGULARLY (MONTHLY) TO REMOVE ACCUMULATED CREOSOTE AND ASH. ENSURE THAT THEY ARE ALL
CLEANED AT THE END OF THE HEATING SEASON TO MINIMIZE CORROSION DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
THEY MUST ALL BE IN GOOD CONDITION. HAVE THE CHIMNEY SWEPT BEFORE THE HEATING SEASON AND
ANY OTHER TIME IT IS REQUIRED. REPLACE DAMAGED SECTIONS IF NECESSARY.
2- Let the furnace cool down and check that the check- damper in the pellet fall opening (combustion chamber, opening on
the back) is not blocked. (See note
