Functions of the luminaire

Depending on the luminaire model, the
luminaire has different functions. If you
want to find out which functions the lumi-
naire has, see chapter 2 "Model overview" ,
page 23.
5.1

Switchable

This function can be used to switch the
luminaire on and off.
5.2

Dimmable

This function is used to change the bright-
ness of the luminaire.
5.3

Through-wiring

This function can be used to link several
luminaires electrically to one another.
5.4

Suitable for EPA

Luminaires with this function can be
grounded and are suitable for use in elec-
trostatically protected areas (EPA).

6.1

Switch-on and switch-off

X Press the button, see Fig. 15.
6.2

Dimming

X Press the button and keep it pressed,
see Fig. 15.
After about one second, the luminaire
will change its brightness.
6.3

Saving the dimming value

Save the dimming value for LED luminaires
When the luminaire is equipped with a LED
lamp, the set brightness level is automati-
cally saved. The next time the luminaire is
switched on, the previously saved bright-
ness level will be retrieved.
Save the dimming value for luminaires
with fluorescent lamp
Prerequisite: The luminaire is on.
X Press the switch twice in quick suc-
cession.
This will save the set brightness level.
The next time the luminaire is switched
on, the previously saved brightness
level will be retrieved.
