INGECON SUN Manager
11. INGECON SUN Manager
In order to carry out the configuration, monitoring and downloading functions of the INGECON SUN ComBox logs,
Ingeteam provides software tool INGECON SUN Manager, which is available on the website.
The modbus node 247 is assigned to the INGECON SUN ComBox (unchangeable).
11.1. Synchronisation
The INGECON SUN ComBox does not have an internal clock, thus the device must be synchronised prior to use.
This can be carried out automatically or using the INGECON SUN Manager software.
Automatic synchronisation
To obtain automatic synchronisation, the INGECON SUN ComBox must share the RS-485 bus with the
installation's inverter no. 1. The device obtains the date and time by querying this inverter.
Synchronisation using the INGECON SUN Manager software
In order use the PC to carry out synchronisation the INGECON SUN ComBox device and all the INGECON units
connected to it, you must:
1.
Access the plant using the INGECON SUN Manager software.
2.
Right-click on the plant in question.
3.
Select Synchronization of all INGECON SUN.
11.2. Configuration and monitoring
Analogue inputs
In order to monitor the analogue inputs connected to the INGECON SUN ComBox, follow the guidelines shown
below:
1.
Access the INGECON SUN Manager software.
2.
Connect to the plant where the INGECON SUN ComBox device is configured.
3.
Right-click on INGECON SUN ComBox and select INGECON SUN settings.
4.
On the screen that appears, fill in the configuration data for the analogue input to monitor.
5.
Complete the configuration by pressing Send.
Once all the analogue inputs are configured, the OnLine data screen shows.
Power setpoint
You can enable or disable the power setpoint feature using the INGECON SUN Manager software.
In order to view the status of this function, access the plant and right-click on the INGECON SUN ComBox. Select
the option INGECON SUN settings and check the status of the option Power command control.
If this function is disabled, the INGECON SUN ComBox will not send the setpoint to the connected units.
Conversely, when the Monitor according to German regulations option is activated the power is monitored (in
accordance with German standards).
If you make any changes, complete the configuration by pressing Send.
