Trim control for channels 1 and 2 (16-19)
The trim fine tunes the zero position of the servo steering and/or of the speed controller, accelerator servo and brake servo.
For this, the dual rate values should be set to 100%, because with maximum control travel the fine adjustment is simplified.

4.2 Putting the model into operation

The model is already assembled ready to run and can be put into operation immediately after the rechargeable batteries for
the transmitter and the rechargeable drive battery are charged. The drive and steering components are assembled and wired,
and the link between the transmitter and receiver is established automatically each time after they are switched on.
Each time they are switched on, the transmitter and receiver scan the frequency band for an available, open channel on which
the radio link is then established. This so-called AFHDS (Automatic Frequency Hopping Digital System) technology reduces the
effects of interferences and thus ensures the maximum transmission reliability possible, with low power consumption and high
sensitivity at the same time.
Taking off the body
The body is secured with cotter pins to four body mounts on the side covers. For perfect fit of
the body, the position of the fastenings can be changed on the body mounts. Take the cotter
pins off and pry the body from the fastenings.
Charging the rechargeable drive battery
To operate the model, two 3S LiPo batteries with 11.1 V and 5,000 mAh are already built into the model.
Charge the rechargeable batteries outside the model to avoid overheating during the charging process.
Please observe the user's manual of the charger used as well as the manufacturer's information for the
batteries. Please observe the safety instruction in this manual!
Taking out the rechargeable drive batteries
>
Disconnect the respective rechargeable battery from the speed controller by unplugging
the plug.
>
Carefully pull the rechargeable battery cable out of the cable guide on the top deck.
>
Open the latches of the battery holder by rotating them 90° and take off the cover.
>
Take out the rechargeable drive battery.
>
Put the charged rechargeable drive batteries back into the model, with the cable in the
direction of travel toward the rear.
>
Secure the rechargeable batteries in the reverse order.
>
Make sure to put in the charging connector plug for the rechargeable battery such that it
cannot get into any rotating parts.
Make a visual check of the model.
>
Are the wheel lugs and screw connections tightened snugly?
>
Is the servo control lever attached snugly on the servo shaft?
>
Is the rechargeable drive battery charged and fixed in the mounting device?
>
Do the rotating and moveable parts moved smoothly?
>
Are the cables installed and secured such that they cannot get into the moving parts?
>
Are the threaded rings for the spring preload adjusted the same on both sides of an axle?
>
Are the wheels straight?
