2. Application
The TC013 rescue device for descending and lifting are rescue devices by means of which one
person or two persons simultaneously or several persons one after the other are able to descend
vertically from a higher to a lower place at limited velocity. In addition, a person can be lifted vertically
from a lower to a higher place by a rescuer or a rescuer can approach a casualty, collect that person
and descend with the casualty.
The equipment may only be used within the limits of the defined conditions of use and for its intended
use. The TC013 rescue device for descending and lifting may only be used as rescue system and
not as fall arrest system. The device can be used in vertical, horizontal and inclined position The
position depends on the particular use.
Vertical position : device is hanging vertically on an anchor point.
Horizontal position: f.e. For rescue from a platform Inclined Position: f.e. Device attached with an
adapter on a tripod.
