Adding additional valve positions to the HF03

If the valve system must be expanded by one or more valve
positions, follow the steps described here. Please note the
following:
Turn off the system operating voltage and compressed air.
The maximum number of 16 valve positions may not be
exceeded.
1. Remove the right end plate (8) with 2 hexagon socket head
screws (9), DIN 912 M5, wrench width 4.
2. Screw in both tie rod extensions (3) included in the subplate
parts kit into the tie rods (2).
Before installing the valve block, check whether the tie-rods
(Pos. 2) have been completely screwed into the end plate
(Pos. 1).
Only use original AVENTICS parts
The tie rod extensions are adjusted to the expansion
coefficient of the subplates so that the valve system gasket
remains intact under all operating conditions.
When mounting, please ensure that all contacts are straight
and that all gaskets have been properly inserted
3. Add subplate(s) (5) and make sure that the gasket(s) are
properly placed.
4. Remount the right end plate (8) using 2 hexagon socket head
screws (9), DIN 912 M5, wrench width 4.
Tightening torque: 3.0 ... 3.5 Nm
5. Place the valve(s) (11) on the new subplate(s) (5) and make
sure that all contacts and gasket (s) are placed correctly.
Screw on the valve(s) (11) using 2 self-cutting screws (13).
Tightening torque: 1.1 ... 1.3 Nm PZD screws no. 1
Power wrench speed 300 ... 600 rpm
6. Move the manual overrides into zero position.
