10.22 Activating / deactivating rechargeable battery charging after electri-
city outage
This function helps stabilise the alarm system. The attached rechargeable battery is charged before initial
operation or after a long period of electrical outage. You are not able to make settings changes, arm the
alarm or use the telephone dialler etc before it is charged.
This can take up to 5 minutes.
During this time the AC POWER and BATTERY LEDs flash alternately.

10.23 Activating / deactivating the rechargeable battery monitoring function

Here you set whether and how often the connected rechargeable battery is to be checked/monitored.

You activate and/or deactivate the battery monitoring with the code.

Battery monitoring every 7 days
The voltage is tested if the battery monitoring is activated. If the voltage is too low, this is signalled by the
BATTERY LED and by a signal tone emitted every 30 seconds by the control panel.
If the next test shows no errors, the BATTERY LED goes out and the by a signal tone is no longer
emitted.
If the alarm control centre has sounded the alarm or the mains supply is cut, the battery is not monitored.
The factory setting is battery monitoring off.
