The electronic regulation set is very important for energy saving. It is mandatory that the first set would always be done by a skilled labour in
the start-up. At the same time, in order to guarantee an optimal performance, the stove and its components have to be received in situ by an
authorised specialised technician. The start up is not included on the guarantee that Bronpi provides to the products.
The Technical Service, or in case the fitter, will make the control operations needed in order to make sure the well working of the equipment.
It will also calibrate the stove depending on the kind of pellet and the installation conditions made taking into account that this stove can work
with a forced draught (smoke extractor).
WOOD WORKING
Regardless of the chosen working mode for the ignition of the stove (see point 9 of this manual), we recommend not to make an excessive
load of fuel on the first ignitions of the stove in "wood" mode.
In order to ignite the fire, we recommend using small wood strips with paper or other means such as fire starters.
It is forbidden to use liquid substances such as alcohol, gasoline, petroleum or similar products. The use of this substance
will invalidate the warranty.
PELLET WORKING
The ignition of this kind of equipments is automatic, so, please do not put on the burner any kind of material to ignition.
It is forbidden to use liquid substances such as alcohol, gasoline, petroleum or similar products. The use of this substance
will invalidate the warranty.
During the first ignition could happen that the stove has finished the ignition cycle and there is no flame. In this case the stove automatically
starts an alarm state. This happens because the fuel feeder is empty and needs a moment to fill in. To solve this problem start again the stove
(taking into account the points before described) until the flame appears.
Before the ignition in "pellet" mode, follow the next verifications:
-
The electrical cable must be connected to the network (230 Vac) with earth connection.
-
The bipolar switch, placed on the rear side of the stove, must be in position I.
-
The pellet tank must be supplied.
-
The combustion chamber must be clean.
-
The burner must be clean and properly placed.
-
The combustion chamber door must be closed correctly.
In both cases, it means pellet or wood, you should consider:
WARNING!! At the beginning, it is possible that you note smoke or smell which are typically produced when metals are
subject to high.
temperatures or when the paint is still fresh. Never ignite the equipment when there are combustible gases in the
environment.
This paint is boiled at 80º C for a few minutes when construction, but it must exceed for a time the temperature of 200 ºC before the adhesion
to the metallic surfaces.
In order to do a proper start-up of the products treated with paints used at high temperatures, it is important to consider the following
conditions:
The materials of the products are not homogenous due to the fact that there are cast-iron parts and steel parts.
The temperature of the product's body is not uniform: among different zones there are variable temperatures between 200°C and
500°C. depending on the kind of fuel used.
During its lifetime, the product is subject to ignitions stoppages even in the same day, as well as intensive use or not use depending
on the season.
The equipment, at the beginning, must be subject to different start-up cycles so that all materials and the paint can complete different
elastic expansions.
Therefore, it is important to adopt these measures during the ignition phase:
1.
Assure that there is a good air refill in the place where the equipment is installed.
2.
During the 4 o 5 first ignitions, do not load excessively the combustion chamber and keep the stove lit during at least 6-10 hours
continuously.
3.
Then, load it more, respecting the recommended load and try to leave the fireplace lit the maximum time as possible, trying to avoid
short ignition periods.
4.
During the first ignitions, you should not place any object on the equipment and, in particular, on lacquered surfaces. Lacquered
surfaces should not be touched while the equipment is heated.
9.

IGNITION AND NORMAL OPERATION

WARNING!! Whatever working mode is chosen, the stove must be ignite from the display (button P2), in order the
automatic system wood/pellet would be activated and the different safety devices.
If your stove has been disconnected from the electrical network long time, it is possible that when you connect the stove to the net
and make the start up the display shows "Er11", it means that the date and hour are not adjusted, and must to proceed to set it. See
point 12.5.1.1.
