Risk of injury or damage due to uncontrolled movements!
If compressed air is connected while the Drehantrieb is being installed, someone may be
injured or the system may be damaged.
Make sure that the relevant part of the system is depressurised while the Drehantrieb is
being installed.
Make sure that the device is completely installed before connecting compressed air.
If the system has to be left unattended during installation, make sure that the
compressed air supply cannot be reconnected.

Installation

Each rotary actuator, series RAK, is dimensioned for a particular
application. Never use the Drehantrieb for another application
without making a new calculation by using the on-line configurator
on the Internet (www.aventics.com) or the main AVENTICS catalog.
Check that the maximum values of working pressure and axial
and radial bearing load stated in the technical specifications
are not exceeded. With heavy loads the load must be
distributed. See Fig. 3, axial load (left) and radial load (right).

WARNING
When attaching a load to the shaft of the Drehantrieb, the force
must be carried by the shaft itself. See Fig. 4.
