Fitting the shock absorber and swivel arm

The hydraulic shock absorber is used together with a swivel arm
for Drehantriebs size 6 to 8, for a smooth and gentle cushioning of
the rotating movement.
The swivel arm is fitted onto the shaft of the Drehantrieb and is
available for various oscillation angles (see the product catalog). A
swivel arm with magnet is required for using sensors. Sensors,
with their mounting details, must be fitted before fitting the shock
absorber (see "Fitting the sensor, for size 6 to 8", on page 45).
Fit the swivel arm (2) on the shaft of the rotary actuator using

the supplied fixing screw (1).
Fit the hydraulic shock absorber (4) on the rotary actuator (5)

using the supplied fixing screws (3). See Table 6 for tightening
torque.
