i5 Interface Overview

To connect the UPS to an i5 you need:

Follow the instructions included with the Relay Interface Card and Cable
Kit to install the card and set UPS monitoring functions in i5/OS t .
Installation may include removal of an existing X-Slot card from the UPS.
Connect the cables as shown in Figure 25.
