Safe opening:
- If your pressure cooker is under pressure, the pressure indicator (D) is in the
up position and the lid handle (G) must not be opened or closed.
- Never try to force open your pressure cooker.
- Never tamper with the pressure indicator (D).
- Ensure that the internal pressure has dropped by checking that the pressure
indicator (D) is down.
- The pot's handles are safety components. Make sure you never replace them
yourself. Never use other models of handles.
- If you have tilted the open/close lid handle (G) to the upright position while
the pressure cooker was still under pressure, you cannot open it. This function
is an additional safety mechanism.
- Return the lid handle to the horizontal position and wait for the pressure
indicator (D) to move to the lower position.
Two safety features for over-pressurisation:
- First feature: the safety valve (E) releases the pressure
- Second feature: the seal allows steam to escape from the lid
If one of the over-pressurisation safety systems is triggered:
Turn o the heat.
Leave your pressure cooker to cool completely.
Open it.
Check and clean the operating valve (A), the steam release vent (B), the
safety valve (E) and the seal (I)

CLEANING
For your pressure cooker to operate correctly, ensure that you follow these
cleaning and maintenance recommendations after each use.
Do not worry should it start to brown or scratch after extensive use.
Wear on the outer coating due to the contact between the lid and pot is normal.
Slight scratches and abrasions that may appear with use do not a ect the non-
stick performance of the coating.

Wash your pressure cooker after each use with lukewarm water and
washing-up liquid. Do the same for the basket.
Do not use bleach or chlorine products.
Do not overheat the pot when it is empty.
To clean the inside of the pot:
Wash the pot by hand using only hot water, washing-up liquid and a soft
sponge.
Do not use scouring powder or abrasive sponges.
If food has burned, fill the pot with hot water and let it soak. Then clean with
washing-up liquid and hot water.
To clean the outside of the pot:
Wash with a sponge, washing-up liquid and hot water.
The basket is dishwasher-safe.
Do not put the pot in the dishwasher, as the detergents in dishwasher tablets
contain very aggressive substances and are corrosive to the aluminium parts.
Prolonged use of the pot may slightly alter the colour of the coating (yellowing,
staining).
To clean the lid:
Wash the lid with a sponge and washing-up liquid.
Hold the lid vertically to drain the water remaining between the metal and
plastic parts of the lid.
To clean the lid seal:
After cooking each time, clean the seal (I) and its housing.
To replace the seal, please refer to
correctly passed under each of the notches in the lid.
To clean the operating valve (A):
Remove the operating valve (A)
