[105] - Select default to reset settings to default and to select the menu language (RESET DEFAULT)
When the language is changed (english, german, french selectable) the settings are also reset to default, and the system version is displayed. Confirm
with button [105].
Note:
By resetting to default the date will also be changed. After a reset be sure to set the date and time, and all other desired settings.
[84] - ALARM BUZZER
Select ON or OFF for an alarm sound when a motion detection recording is triggered.
Note:
If it is set to On, the buzzer remains on also when the volume is muted.
Default setting: OFF
[83] - Digital zoom (PAN TILT ZOOM)
Displays a 2x digital enlargement of the picture for a period of approx 2 minutes. Tap the direction buttons navigate within the image. To exit the zoom
function within two minutes press the top right corner of the screen.
[88] - Start sequence display
If this function is selected, each activated camera will be displayed as full image in sequence of 5 seconds. If only one camera is activated it will be displayed
constantly.
[89] - MEMORY CARD OVERWRITE
Select "ON" to enable this function. If the memory card is full the oldest files will be overwritten. If overwrite is not activated no more data will be recorded
when the memory card is full. In this case, either activate the memory overwrite function in the menu, format the card (all data will be deleted) or insert a new
card and format it as described in "Format Storage".
Default setting: OFF
14. Viewing recordings on a PC
Alternative to viewing recorded data on the monitor the microSDHC card can be
removed and the the data viewed on a PC, after the included software has been
installed.

14.1 Installing the software

Insert the included CD [34] into a running PC.

Select the exe file on the CD with a double click, this opens a window on the
PC screen.

Click on "Next >".

Tick the box by "I have read and accept the license terms".

Click on "Install >" and wait until the next window opens.

Click on "Finish". The installation will be ended and the icon Sec24Media
Player will pop up on the desktop.
14.2 Viewing recordings using the installed software

Insert the microSDHC card into the PC.

Click on the desktop icon "Sec24MediaPlayer" to open the player.
!
Click on "Load".

Select the recording (SNX file) to be viewed (the recordings are
automatically arranged in files according to date and time). The file will be
played.

To pause the playback click on the symbol, to end the playback click on

the symbol . To restart playback or to play again click on the symbol.

Navigate within the recording by moving the cursor on the time bar. The
real time of the recording and the total file length are shown.

Click on to skip to the previous file and on .

When the playback file is ended or paused you can tick on to select which
camera channels should be played. If only one channel is selected, this
channel will be displayed in full screen.

15. Wireless range

The wireless range is dependent on many factors. In an ideal location and by
free line of sight between both antennas) a range of up to 150 m is possible,
within buildings this is reduced to maybe 20 m.
The range cannot be guaranteed as it is dependent on the local conditions.
A reduction of the range will be caused by:

Walls and Floors, in particular those of metal or with metal
reinforcement
#
Coated windows (eg. those with Insulating glass), radiators, mirrors and
other metal surfaces
#
Electrical cables and electrical products (eg. those containing electrical
motors, microwave ovens)
#
Devices using the same or similar frequency (eg. WLAN-systems)
