11. Basic operation

After pressing the door bell button [47] the outdoor station confirms with
one chime and the indoor station rings with up to six chimes (
melody, duration, and volume are fixed
inserted, a video recording will be started (the record symbol in red [21]
and a flashing red dot [9] in the lower right corner of the screen indicate
recording). The recording can be manually stopped after 14 seconds by
pressing the record button [21], otherwise the recording will automatically
stop after one minute. The full screen picture from the outdoor station
camera and the menu bar are displayed and the reception LED [10] lights
green.

After pressing the speech button [17] the speech function is enabled (when
the outdoor station is powered by mains adapter this function is always
available, when battery powered, then within one minute after the door
bell button is pressed). The speech function is available when the speech
symbol is yellow with a black ring. The speech function is in both directions
but not at the same time. Only the sound from the outdoor station is
recorded. The speaker volume on the indoor station can be adjusted using
the volume button [20]. The speech function can be stopped by pressing
the speech symbol again (then no more audio data will be recorded).

If one or two door releases are connected, these can be operated by
pressing the door release [18] or gate release [19] symbol. If the outdoor
station has mains adapter power this function is always available, if
battery power then within one minute after the door bell button is pressed.

In low ambient light levels the infrared LEDs [45] will be activated by the
daylight sensor [43]. The close range up to 0.8 m in front of the outdoor
station is illuminated. In order to obtain a better image in darkness
additional lighting must be installed.

If upon pressing the door bell button the outdoor station chimes, but the
indoor station does not react, or when the outdoor station is mains adpter
powered and there is no camera picture on the screen, then reduce the
distance between indoor and outdoor station. If there is no function even
when the stations are next to each other, then they must be paired again

13. Advanced functions

13.1 Control bar [14-22]

Press the symbol [15] to open the control bar.

Press the symbol [15] to close the control bar.
[16] - Select camera image

By repeatedly pressing the image button [16] you can switch betwen quad display and full image of camera 1 to 4 (channel 1 is set in the factory as the
outdoor station camera, channels 2 to 4 will display the full screen image of any activated camera)
Note:

If the outdoor station is battery powered channel 1 will be shown, but there will be no image until the door bell button is pressed.

If all the cameras 2-4 are deactivated then this function is not available.

For the recording of audio from additional cameras it is important in the manual and automatic recording, which image is selected: If quad or full image
of the outdoor station selected, the audio from the outdoor station will be recorded with the speech button [17] pressed. If the full image of a camera 2-4
is selected, then the audio of the selected camera will be recorded. From which camera the audio is recording is indicated by the symbol [5].
/ / [17/18/19] - Speech and door release functions
If the outdoor station is powered by the mains adapter the speech and door release functions are always available.
(see chapter 13.2 Pairing).

The strength of the received wireless signal is indicated in the top left hand
corner [11] of the monitor. Up to 4 vertical bars next to the antenna symbol
chime
indicate the reception strength: no bars = no signal, 1 bar = poor
). If a micro-SD card is
reception, ....4 bars = optimal reception.

There is no sound from the indoor station, only during the activated speech
function is this possible or on the indoor station when replaying recordings.
12. Optional: Adding additional cameras
The Outdoor station is paired in the factory as camera 1 with the indoor station.
To make wireless connection with an additional camera DF270K (up to 3
cameras can be added) the camera and the indoor station must be paired as
follows:

Power the camera with its mains adapter.

Open the menu bar on the indoor station by pressing the > [15] symbol.

Select the main menu by pressing the menu symbol [22].

Select Camera Settings [81].
!
Select the desired camera channel 2 to 4 [92].

Press the pairing symbol [91]. The connection LED [11]on the indoor
station flashes green.
!
Within 30 seconds press the pairing button on the camera. When the
connection LED on the indoor station and the connection LED on the
camera light constantly green the camera is sucessfully paired on the
chosen channel of the indoor station and PAIRED is displayed on the
screen. If another camera was previously paired to this channel, it will be
replaced by the new camera. If the newly paired camera was previously
paired to another channel, then the previous pairing will automatically be
cancelled.

Now activate the newly paired camera channel by pressing the activation
symbol [94] until ON appears.

Exit the menu by repeatedly pressing the return button
