10. Errors and remedying them
Error messages appear in the "Time display" field and are accompanied by an
audible signal. A distinction is made between operating errors and appliance
faults.
10.1

Operating errors

Incorrect head position
• If the client is not sitting in the correct position under the Infrared heater,
model S32 or S33, the "CP" (Check Position) error message will appear in
the "Time display" field.
• Check and correct the appliance position (middle of client's ear = middle of
side heater) and confirm using the corresponding illuminated Start button
(see "Temperature sensor/Client position" on page 33).
10.2

Appliance faults

Defective heating
• The heating does not work properly.
There is a danger of overheating.
- The message "E0" appears in field.
• Switch off the appliance immediately, disconnect the mains plug, and noti-
fy the technical Customer Service Centre.
Defective temperature measurement device
• Defective sensor or sensor line.
• One or more essential functions of the appliance are defective.
- The message "E1" appears in field
• Switch off the appliance immediately, disconnect the mains plug, and noti-
fy the technical Customer Service Centre.
