Errors and remedying them

10. Errors and remedying them
Error messages appear in the "Time display" field and are accompanied by an
audible signal. A distinction is made between operating errors and appliance
faults.
10.1

Operating errors

Incorrect head position
If the client is not sitting in the correct position under the Infrared heater,
model S32 or S33, the "CP" (Check Position) error message will appear in
the "Time display" field.
Check and correct the appliance position (middle of client's ear = middle of
side heater) and confirm using the corresponding illuminated Start button
(see "Temperature sensor/Client position" on page 33).
10.2

Appliance faults

Defective heating
The heating does not work properly.
There is a danger of overheating.

The message "E0" appears in field.
Switch off the appliance immediately, disconnect the mains plug, and noti-
fy the technical Customer Service Centre.
Defective temperature measurement device
Defective sensor or sensor line.
One or more essential functions of the appliance are defective.

The message "E1" appears in field
Switch off the appliance immediately, disconnect the mains plug, and noti-
fy the technical Customer Service Centre.
