Connecting the Player

This product is compatible with the Copy Guard analog copy protect system. Some discs feature a copy
protect signal. If you connect this player to a TV via a VCR, and record this kind of disc and play back
the recording on the VCR, the Copy Guard system may prevent you from getting a normal picture.
Connect the DVD player either directly to the television or through an A/V amplifier.
Select the appropriate connection for your TV.

¶ Match jack colors (white, red, yellow) and plug colors when
connecting.
¶ Connect a TV's S Video input to this product's S2 Video output.
¶ Follow the instructions in the User's Manual of the TV (monitor TV)
you're connecting.
¶ When the TV has multiple video inputs, select the desired source
(Video 1, Video 2, etc.)
If your TV has a video input, and it is
available for use, this is the easiest way
to hook up the player.
Follow the instructions in the TV's
(monitor TV's) User's Manual.
Connect like this when hooking up to
the external input jack for karaoke
entertainment with another component.
Finally,connect
to a wall outlet.
