Maintenance

Maintenance
Minor maintenance (every two weeks)
You can do minor maintenance on the Roxx yourself.
Clean your wheelchair with a damp cloth, water and
an all-purpose cleaner.
Note: Never use abrasive and aggressive cleaning
agents or solvents including thinner, dry cleaning
fluid or similar.
Note: Over-tightening the screws can damage the
wheelchair.
Tip: Use Matrixx Cleaner for cleaning the
upholstery.
Tyres and wheels
Check the tyre pressure and condition of the tyres
(for ageing) regularly. To propel the wheelchair
comfortably, meaning with the lowest possible rolling
and turning resistance, it is important for the tyres
to be at the correct pressure. The wheelchair will be
more difficult to propel and manoeuvre if the tyre
pressure is too low. Use, if necessary, a valve nipple
for pumping up the tyres (for example, when using a
bicycle pump). The maximum tyre pressure is shown
on the tyres. Life & Mobility recommends a maximum
tyre pressure of 6 bar.
Note: Tyre pressures that are too low will have a
negative impact on the braking power.
Check the wheel tension on a regular basis (once
per quarter, depending on the intensity of use) to
make sure that your wheelchair continues to ride
comfortably and safely. Ask you dealer for assistance
if necessary.

Maintenance
Major maintenance (annual)
Your dealer will be happy to carry out the major
maintenance of your wheelchair. You can then be sure
that you will be getting the best possible use out of
it. You should also consult your dealer if components
need replacing.
