Transport
n The belt must not come into contact with
components of the wheelchair (such as armrests or
wheels) in such a way that it does not fully support
the occupant's body (see Figure 5).
n The approved three-point safety belt is intended
to prevent injury to the head and chest.
n If a worktop is fitted, it must be removed in order
to prevent injury to other passengers. The worktop
should be safely stowed away elsewhere in the
vehicle.
n If possible, any accessories must be secured or
removed.
n Following an accident, a representative of the
factory must inspect the wheelchair to determine
whether it can still be used.
n The attachment points, structural components
and frame components must not be modified or
replaced without first consulting the manufacturer.
Seat belt
The seat belt is intended to keep the occupant in
position. Attach it to or around the metal seat frame.
Car
In addition to a taxibus, the Roxx can also be
transported folded up in the boot of a passenger car.
See page 22 and 23 for instructions on how to fold up
the wheelchair.

Warnings
n In accordance with the agreement,
the Roxx base was declared collision-

and was issued with CE marking.
n The Roxx has been dynamically tested
in a forward direction, where the test
dummy (= 103 kg) was secured with a
hip belt and a shoulder belt.
n Secure the chair in a taxi van with a
4 point fastening system. Also use a
3-point safety belt for transporting the
wheelchair and occupant to reduce
the risk of head and chest injuries.
n The sitting posture belt is unsuitable
as a safety belt.
n Worktops should be removed and
stored safely in the taxi.
n All accessories should be secured or
removed and safely stored in the taxi.
n After
every
accident,
manufacturer's representative should
examine the wheelchair to determine
whether it can be used again.
n The fastening points or structural and
frame components should never be
changed and/or replaced without first
consulting the manufacturer.
n Any batteries should be "spill-proof".
n The belt clasp must be positioned so
that no wheelchair parts can come in
contact with it during a collision.
