this product. This means that during this period, the

Safety instructions

Life & Mobility accepts no liability for damage or
injury caused by negligence or non-compliance with
the safety instructions.
Dependent on the specific circumstances or acces-
sories used, supplementary safety instructions can be
required.
General
n Never change the construction of the wheelchair.
n Only use original Life & Mobility parts and acces-
sories. These are tested and safe.
Markings on the wheelchair
n Markings, safety symbols and instructions are
displayed on this wheelchair. They must not be co-
vered or removed. They must remain on and be
clearly visible throughout the life of the wheelchair.
Assembly and adjustment
n Before using the wheelchair, check that all of the
components of the wheelchair are correctly and
securely installed.
n Ensure that the push-handles, the backrest height,
the armrests, the lower leg length and the head-
rest, if present, are adjusted to the right height.
n Ensure that there is a minimum distance of 5 cm
between the legrests and the floor.
n Check the dimensions and correctly adjust them in
the manner described in this manual.
