16. Ethernet TCP connection

These units have Wi-Fi and Ethernet TCP communication.
For wireless communication with the inverter, the latter has a Wi-Fi antenna installed inside.
For wired communication an Ethernet TCP cable is required.
This section explains the process for connecting the Ethernet TCP communication.

16.1. Safety instructions for the Ethernet TCP

CAUTION
Before you start to make the connections, make sure there is no voltage in the inverter. Check that the
protections for the grid/genset, critical loads, storage system and PV array are open.
Do not switch on the power to the unit until you have successfully made the rest of the connections and the unit
is closed.

16.2. Ethernet TCP connection process

Follow the steps below to connect the Ethernet TCP wiring:
1. Insert the Ethernet TCP communication cable without the RJ45 connector through the dedicated cable
grommet (see section
2. Crimp the RJ45 connector to the Ethernet TCP cable.
3. Connect the Ethernet TCP cable to the J10 connector.
4. Guide the cable and hold it if necessary on the plastic support.
5. Check that the connection is tight.
