9. Connection of critical loads

These units have an AC output for connecting critical loads from the installation.
This chapter explains the requirements and process for connecting the critical load wiring to the unit. Read
carefully before starting the connection process.

9.1. Safety instructions for connecting critical loads

CAUTION
Before you start to make the connections, make sure there is no voltage in the inverter. Check that the
protections for the grid/genset, critical loads, storage system and PV array are open.
Do not switch on the power to the unit until you have successfully made the rest of the connections and the unit
is closed.
When carrying out the connections, respect the polarities marked on the electronic card.
Ingeteam accepts no liability for any damages caused by an incorrect connection.

In TT grounding systems, when the inverter works without an AC grid, the inverter automatically connects the
neutral from the critical loads to ground. This unit has a dedicated internal relay for this function.
