Safety Distances

The following distances to flammable or thermal-
sensitive materials must be observed (e.g. furniture,
wood or plastic paneling, curtains, etc.):
In the radiation range of the firebox pane (fig. 1)
120 cm in front of and 30 cm next to the wood-burn-
ing stove.
In the case of particularly insulated parts and ther-
mosensitive materials, such as glass, larger gaps
may be required.
In the area of the flue tube connection (on the wall
or ceiling of the room): no flammable or tempera-
ture-sensitive material may be in a radius of 20 cm.
WARNING!
**Distance on the back:
Without the installation of the HASE
thermal protection system (option), the
distance of the wood-burning stove on
the rear side must be at least 20 cm to
flammable materials. The distance to
flammable materials can be reduced to
1cm* through the installation of the HASE
thermal protection system (see mainte-
nance and installation instructions). The
distance above the wood-burning stove
to flammable material for wood-burning
stoves with a height of 200 cm is at least
40 cm and for all higher models, min.: 3
cm*. (* Only upon request in Switzerland)
NOTE!
HASE thermal protection system:
The HASE thermal protection system must
be installed on the flammable wall accord-
ing to the specifications in the mainte-
nance and installation instructions. Only
the original HASE thermal protection sys-
tem is permitted
WARNING!
Flammable flooring materials (e.g., wood,
laminate, carpeting,) must be protected
with a floorplate made of non-combustible
material (e.g., tiles, safety glass, slate, or
sheet steel).
The size of the floorplate must be larger
than the base of the stove by at least 50
cm in front and at least 11 cm at the sides
of the stove (fig. 2).
