Resistance to permeation by chemicals
according to EN 943-2:2002
For European approval, the tests against the concentrated
chemicals listed below took place by means of complete
wetting/coverage of the test samples.
The classification for testing the resistance to permeation by
chemicals according to EN 943-1:2002 is as follows:
Class 1
>10 minutes
Class 2
>30 minutes
Class 3
>60 minutes
Class 4
>120 minutes
Class 5
>240 minutes
Class 6
>480 minutes
Due to the tests according to EN 943-2:2002, section 5.2,
certain suit configurations do not qualify for being permanently
exposed to chemicals for which only permeation class <2 is
reached.
The components of the chemical protective suit have been
tested for the chemicals listed below under laboratory
conditions. The chemical protective suit period of use can
depend on several factors, including the concentration and
state of aggregation of the contaminant and the ambient
conditions. Additional information is available from Dräger or at
http://www.draeger.com/voice. You need to log on to be able to
use the database.
