Configuring the device with the remote control
"User Interface" menu (operating parameters)
Parameter Explanation
LCD Sets the display contrast

LCD Determines the time after which
Auto-off the display illumination is
switched off
Buzzer Specifies if and when the remote
setting control buzzer is activated:
Disable = deactivated
MSG = Tone when switching on
and every time a button is
pressed
Alert = Warning tone for fan fail-
ure, undervoltage, overload or
overtemperature
SHDN = Warning tone when
shutting down the device due to
overvoltage, undervoltage, over-
load or overtemperature
Alert setting Determines the fault messages
the relay should report (see
chapter "Connecting the fault
display relay" on page 85):
Disable = deactivated
Alert = Alarm for fan failure,
undervoltage or overload
SHDN = Alarm for overvoltage,
undervoltage, overload or over-
temperature
Shutdown Determines how many times the
Retry device is automatically started
after shutting down due to a
fault.
(Disable = never)
