Fitting of spreaders
5.2
- the spreaders must be carefully posi-
tioned and fixed at each panel of the
mast. The use of a mallet is recommen-
ded to avoid scratching the aluminium;
- place the spreaders top side up;
- open the pins very slightly (to ensure
the spreaders are firmly fixed in place
and that there is no movement in the
spreaders).
Split pin to be
opened to 90°
Please note: it is possible to use a clamp to
fit the spreaders on steel bars: follow the
instructions included with these spreaders.
