 Bar-end turn signals on vehicles made in 1987 or later do
not render the rear turn signals redundant. E-approved bar-
end turn signals are only tested for their effect as a front turn
signal (lens marked with 11) and must therefore always be
complemented by rear turn signals, even on older models.

INSTALLATION:

Securely jack up the vehicle using the centre stand or
motorcycle lift. Disconnect the vehicle battery. Disassemble
the existing turn signals and disconnect the connecting cables.
Remove the original handlebar ends if present, so that the
hollow handlebars can be accessed on the right and left.
Handlebars that are encapsulated or impeded by thread inserts
are unsuitable for these turn signals.
For the cable feed-through, drill a 4-mm hole on one side of the
vehicle handlebar. This hole should be on the underside of the
handlebar in the area of the switch fitting. To do this, loosen
the screw connection of the fitting beforehand and remove the
lower section. Alternatively, it is possible to position the hole
directly beside the handlebar clamp (in the middle).
Note: Do not place the drill hole exactly in the middle between
the clamping brackets. Mark the position for drilling with a
centre punch. The drill hole should be carefully deburred and
smoothed using a small file. To clamp the turn signal in the
handlebar end, select the rubber bushing from those included
that best fits the inner diameter of your handlebar. Rubber
grommets with diameters of 12, 14 and 18 mm are supplied.
Insert a cheese head screw (2) into the turn signal. Attach a
