NOTE!
Risk of short circuit!
Before carrying out any work on the vehicle's

electrical system, be sure to disconnect the
vehicle battery - there is a risk of short circuit!
The electrical installation and the mechanical

installation on the vehicle must be carried out
correctly. Incorrect installation can cause short
circuits or invalidate the type approval.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
The electrical cables must not be under any

tension. They must be routed in such a way that
they cannot chafe, and they must not bend. If
necessary, an extra cable sheath or a rubber
cable feed-through can be used.
Any resistors that are installed may heat

up during use and therefore must not be
installed in the direct vicinity of heat-sensitive
components or in closed housings. Depending
on how long they remain switched on, the turn
signals may reach temperatures of +80°C or
more. Only use resistors which have a heat
sink.
It is forbidden to install the turn signal in front

of the exhaust port or in the hot exhaust gas
stream area.
