4.2 Mounting the lens

Attention! Protect the CCD image sensor chip and
the lenses of the lens assembly against
dust and impurities; never touch them with
your fingers. If no lens is mounted, always
place the lens cover (1) on the lens mount
of the camera to protect the CCD image
sensor chip.
1) Remove the lens cover (1).
2) Release the setscrew (2) and adjust the rotating ring
(3) according to the lens type used:
when using a CS-mount lens, turn the ring clock-
wise (towards "CS") to the stop;
when using a C-mount lens, turn the ring counter-
clockwise (towards "C") to the stop.
Then tighten the setscrew to lock the ring.
3) When using an AI lens (lens with automatic iris con-
trol), connect this lens to the jack "AUTO IRIS LENS"
(4). Use the supplied plug, if required. The pin con-
figuration of the jack depends on the position of the
sliding switch (6):

Attention! Prior to connecting the lens, check the

5 Camera Installation

The camera can be installed on a camera stand, on a
pan/tilt head (e. g. MONACOR VPT-50), or on a camera
support (e. g. support of the MONACOR TVH-... series).
For this purpose, the lower side of camera is provided
with an adapter (12) with a thread jack [thread 6.3 mm

natively be screwed to the upper side of the camera.
For outs ide installation, the camera must be placed

in a weatherproof outdoor housing.
